Purpose
Develop and implement a recruitment process to increase corporate membership and certified MBEs. To give the Council presence in the Capital Region.

The Marketing committee will raise awareness of council and promote benefits to members, clients and community.

Purpose
To determine whether companies applying for certification are in fact owned, operated and controlled by minority group members in accordance with NMSDC policies. This is done by evaluation and analysis of submitted application data and through interviews and site inspections.

Facilitate procurement opportunities for Upstate NY Minority Contractors. Educate, advocate for minority contractors. Review, disseminate and act appropriately upon legislative information that directly impacts Upstate NY minority contractors.
